Warranty terms

All warranties are provided by the manufacturers. Customers should ask for the warranty terms of the products they are buying before purchase.

During the warranty period, manufacturing defects arising from faulty materials or workmanship under normal use will be addressed through repair or replacement of the defective component or device, subject to the manufacturer's warranty terms and conditions.

Warranty covers

• Manufacturing defects in the hardware.
• Failure of internal components resulting from defects in materials or workmanship.
• Hardware faults occurring during normal and intended use.
• Technical support and warranty claim assistance through Computer Traders Ghana Ltd.
• Repair or replacement of eligible defective components or devices, subject to the applicable warranty terms and assessment.

Warranty does not cover

• Accidental damage, including drops, cracked or broken screens.
• Liquid or moisture damage.
• Fire, power surges, lightning, or natural disasters.
• Misuse, abuse, negligence, or improper handling.
• Unauthorized repairs, modifications, or tampering.
• Cosmetic damage such as scratches, dents, or discoloration.
• Normal wear and tear.
• Damage resulting from the installation of unauthorized software or accessories.

Warranty claim procedure

To obtain warranty service, the customer must:

1. Present the original purchase invoice or receipt.
2. Provide the product with its serial number intact, where applicable.
3. Return the product to Computer Traders Ghana Ltd. for inspection and warranty processing.

For brand new products, Computer Traders Ghana Ltd. will facilitate warranty service with the manufacturer where applicable. Repair or replacement will be subject to the manufacturer's warranty assessment and approval.

Certified, slightly used products

These can be tested and returned within twenty-one (21) days from the date of purchase, as set out in our Returns & refunds policy (clauses 3 and 4).
