Who we are

Computer Traders Ghana Ltd. (Adum, Kumasi, GhanaPost GPS AK-019-2365) runs this website and is responsible for your information. Contact us at info.ctghana@gmail.com or 053 726 2660.

What we collect

When you order: your name, phone number, optional email, delivery address or chosen pickup station, and what you bought.

When you pay online: Paystack processes your payment. We receive the payment reference, amount, method and result, never your card number or Mobile Money PIN.

When you chat with us: the messages you send, and your name and phone number if you share them so our team can follow up.

When you review an order: your star ratings, what you write, any photos you add, and the name you choose to show.

If you choose them: your agreement to receive offers by SMS or email, and browser notifications (with the items in your cart, for a single reminder).

Basic technical data such as your device's network address, used in coded form to prevent spam and fraud.

How we use it

To confirm, deliver and support your order, including order confirmations and receipts by SMS or email, updates on WhatsApp, warranty and returns.

To answer your questions in the chat. Our shop assistant uses an AI service to reply, and passes the conversation to our team when needed.

To prevent fraud and misuse of the website.

To send offers and suggestions only if you've agreed. Every promotional SMS and email has a stop link, and you can turn off notifications in your browser at any time.

Who we share it with

Only the services we need to run the shop: Paystack (payments), mNotify (SMS), Resend (email), Anthropic (the chat assistant), and our hosting and database providers (Vercel and Neon), which store it securely. Delivery riders and parcel services receive your name, phone number and address for your delivery. If you message us on WhatsApp, WhatsApp's own privacy policy applies.

We never sell or rent your personal information.

Reviews

After your order is delivered or collected, we text you a link to review it. Only buyers can review, and each review is linked to its order.

Your review is public on this website: the name you chose, your stars, your words, your photos and the date. Your phone number and order details are never shown. Photos are cleaned of location data before they're stored.

We may reply to a review in public, and we hide reviews that are abusive or not about the product or our service. You can change your reviews with the same link for 60 days, and ask us to delete them at any time.

When someone taps "Helpful" on a review, we store a coded form of their network address so each person counts once. It can't be turned back into the address.

Cookies and your device

Your cart and saved items are stored on your own device. A cookie keeps your chat conversation so you can come back to it, and our staff use sign-in cookies for the shop's admin. We don't use advertising cookies.

How long we keep it

Order and payment records are kept for as long as the law requires us to keep business records. Chats and message records are kept only as long as we need them to help you and run the shop.

Your rights

Under Ghana's Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843) you can ask to see the information we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, and stop marketing messages at any time. Email info.ctghana@gmail.com or call 053 726 2660. If you're not satisfied with our reply, you can contact Ghana's Data Protection Commission.

Security

The website uses encrypted connections (HTTPS), and only authorised staff can see customer information.
